Dear Readers:

As I mentioned earlier this week, I am currently in Paris, celebrating the birthday of my wonderful friend Marcy Blum.

As I spend time with my beautiful friend, I am reminded of the most important part of the work we do: creating events that allow our clients and guests the chance to connect with their loved ones and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with them.

Birthdays, weddings, corporate celebrations, anniversaries…these are the moments or celebration on a life timeline. How fortunate are we, as artists and professionals to be allowed the chance to participate, however small, in the creation of such memories.

Today, I would like to ask you all to share how you stay focused on your clients needs while staying true to your own artistic desires. How do you achieve that balance between your own expression and remembering that your “event” is often one of the biggest moments of their lives?

Blessings,

Preston
